Confidentiality of Information
The personal information received about an entrepreneur or enterprise through the application form is treated with maximum confidentiality. Except for the group companies or affiliated lenders, no other individual or body is able to access the information. We may pass information about customers to legal agencies in charges of fraud or misappropriation.
Storage of information
To ensure the confidentiality of the information, secure servers and secure e-mail form may be utilized.
Right to check personal information
Under the Data Protection Act, of1998 customers have the right to check their personal information and the uses to which it is being put to. They can get it corrected if there are any inaccuracies in the personal information then. Customers can also get copies of the personal information.
Information sharing
No information, related to a customer, is transferred to any company outside our fold. We do not give marketing companies any access to the personal information for their marketing gimmicks.
Credit checks
Since this is a monetary matter, we undertake a check of the credibility of our customers. Licensed credit reference agencies like Experian and Equifax may be contacted for undertaking a credit check.
Debt recovery
The credit reference agencies are informed if the customer does not make the repayment even after giving him a notice of 28 days. It includes the customer's name in the defaulters list. The repercussions of the listing can be seen in the borrower becoming ineligible to get loans and mortgages for several years. The services of a debt collection agency may be engaged to get back the repayment.
Storage of communication
All communication exchanged with the customer will be recorded. This can be utilized for any future proceedings. A customer agrees to abide by our privacy policy if he fills up the application form.
